神奈川大学は、国内外から集う多様な学生と教職員一人ひとりの人権と自由を守り、さまざまな違いを個性として認めあう大学コミュニティを創造します。同時に、国籍、人種、民族、宗教、信条、出自、年齢、性別、性的指向・性自認、障がい等にもとづくいかなる差別も生まないよう努め、よりよい共生社会を築くことをめざします。
神奈川大学は、異なる属性や価値観を理解し尊重しあうことの大切さを学生に伝え、世界の恒久平和と人類の幸福の実現に貢献できる良識ある市民を育成します。また、社会に存在する差別や偏見の根源的な解明と解決をめざすとともに、ダイバーシティを推進する意義を社会に発信します。

Kanagawa University promotes diversity.
Kanagawa University works to protect the freedom and human rights of each of our diverse students, faculty, and staff, who have come here from many places both inside Japan and overseas, and strives toward the creation of a university community in which various differences are accepted as aspects of a person’s individuality. At the same time we work to prevent any kind of discrimination based on characteristics such as nationality, race, ethnicity, religion, creed, origin, age, sex/gender, sexual orientation/gender identity, or disability, and aim to create a more inclusive society.
Kanagawa University communicates to students the importance of understanding and respecting different attributes and values, and seeks to help them become citizens of sound conscience and understanding who can contribute to lasting peace in the world and to the happiness of humanity. Along with aiming to identify and address the roots of discrimination and prejudice in society, we also convey to society the importance of promoting diversity.
