Michael Röckner （ミヒャエル レックナー）教授は、確率偏微分方程式について、世界における現在この分野での第一人者です。
なお、2017、2018 年度のドイツ数学会（DMV）の会長担当、2015、2017 年度のドイツ科研費（“Advanced Grants” of the ERC）審査委員長担当、5つのJournalsの Editorial Boad担当などを歴任され、これまでに、50名を超える博士学位審査主査を担当されております。

理工学における確率偏微分方程式の基本事項
Abstract (概要) :
確率偏微分方程式の成り立ちを極く基本から解説し、これに関連する工学・理学の問題、応用について説明する。
この講演を通じて、数学を専門分野としない理工学・情報学の研究者・学生も確率偏微分方程式の有用性を納得できると期待される。
