Minato Mirai Library

Reading Room (2F, 3F)

Library materials are available in any area in the library (2F, 3F).There are group learning spaces on the 2nd floor, so you can study with your peers having discussions. 3F is a silent study floor. Please refrain from the conversation. You can bring in bottled drinks with lids and drink them in the library. Do not drink around the electronic devices and bookshelves. Please put it in your bag after drinking.

Group Learning Area 1 (2F)

This area is a space for group study. Setting the movable desks anywhere you like to make your study space. You can use the whiteboards freely. If you would like to use the projector, please ask for the counter (Please use whiteboards instead of the projector screens).

Group Learning Area 2 (2F)

This area is a space for group study. You can use 4~6 person booths without reservations.

PC for Digitized Contents Transmission Service (National Diet Library, Japan)

This PC is available to access the “NDL Digital Collections”. The NDL Digital Collections enables library users to search and view a variety of resources (such as books that are difficult to get access because of being out of print or other reasons), collected and stored by the National Diet Library of Japan. Please check below to check the details.

Silent Room (3F)

This room is a space for silent study. There are outlets in the room, so you can use your laptops. Please refrain from conversations.

Knowledge Core

Starting with the symbolic bookshelf named "Book Tower", there are unique bookshelves designed to feel like a forest. By arranging materials that emphasize visuals such as foreign books and art collections, it creates a lounge-like atmosphere. This area is a relaxing space you can feel a different atmosphere compared with other areas in the library.

Using wireless network in the library
