ILL：Interlibrary Loan
If materials you wish to use are not available at your home Library. You can request ordering books, journal articles, and other materials from other university or institution libraries outside of Kanagawa University.
It is also to available for using service for ordering photocopies from other Kanagawa University Libraries (Yokohama and Minato Mirai).
Document Delivery
- Kanagawa University Library provides ILL copy order service according to Article 31 of the Copyright Law.
- Faculties and the graduated school students can transfer from university expensive.
- Part-time lecturers and undergraduate students have to pay the fee* for ILL copy. *fee: The fee of an item you requested included digital copy fee, delivery cost and transfer fee.
Interlibrary Loans
- Borrowing the books from other libraries that are not available at your home library. Use only in the library.
- It is not available to borrow the periodicals from other university or institution libraries.
Apply
- Please log in with your MNS account.
- Please search the online catalog OPAC first and located the material before using ILL service. Use the tab “Bib Search” for searching your desired material is in Kanagawa University Library whether or not. Then select the “Other Univ. “tab for change to search other university or institution libraries. You don’t have to enter the title of a journal or a book, the title is input automatically.
- A librarian will search about your desired material and order to other university or the institution libraries.
- You can check the status of your request from “Your Library Record” of library website. (MNS account required) Most requested on Interlibrary Loan will arrive in about a week to 10 days, but in some cases may take more longer. The arrival inform will be sent to your university e-mail address.
- Please receive the materials at Reference Counter (Yokohama 2F, Hiratsuka 1F) in the libraries.
