4 Meeting Corner

Four electronic blackboards are available.
They can be used for group study (reservation not required).

5 Audiovisual Reference Room
Audiovisual Counter

The procedures for using audiovisual materials (DVDs, Blu-ray, videos, CDs and micro materials) and rental notebook PCs are carried out here.

  • Reception hours differ from the opening hours of the library.
  • Audiovisual materials cannot be lent and use within the library.
Audiovisual Booth A and B

Audiovisual materials stored in the library can be watched.
Bringing in and using your own materials are prohibited.

Audiovisual Small Hall

The hall is used for holding events such as lecture meetings and screenings.

Stored some rare books and the other materials are displayed periodically.
Detailed exhibitions are listed on the website and more.

1 Reference Book Reading Room
Reference Counter

Library usage information, consultation concerning material collection, receiving and making requests for copies of literature from other universities and institutions and lending and borrowing books from them (ILL service) general member registration, etc.

Japanese books in the fields of general works and philosophy (B002-B199) (D002-D199)
Some reference books, white papers, yearbooks, statistics, reduced-sized editions of newspapers, how-to books for employment and licenses

2 Reading Room 2

Area for studying quietly

You cannot use the calculator and Notebook PC in this area.

3 Information Literacy Seminar Room

The room is designed for using databases and holding seminars concerning how to collect information (15 PCs installed).
Schedules for seminars are available on the library website, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

4 Group Information Search Room

Group study and seminars can be held using PCs and projectors (projectors are available for use in the Group Information Search Room only).
They can be used depending on the class hours (prior application is required).

How to Apply

Apply at the reference counter.
Reservations can be made from one week prior to the day before use.
The room can be used for up to two classes at a time.

8:50~21:00
*9:30-17:30 on Sundays, national holidays and during closures.

Usage Conditions

Groups who are eligible for using the library and intend to study. The room cannot be used only for meetings and gatherings.
