Entrance / Exit Gate
To enter and leave the library, you will need an ID card issued by the university (student ID, faculty/staff ID, membership card). Please touch the reader with your ID card.
Counter
The following services are provided at the counter.
- Answering general queries about our library or collections.
- Providing advice on how to search for materials in the library.
- Sending requests on borrowing materials or photocopies to other institutions (Interlibrary loan).
- Issuing letters of introduction for visiting other institutions.
- Providing lessons on how to use databases (individually).
- Receiving book purchase requests by faculty members and students.
- Registration of general users.
* When the counter is crowded, we will provide part of the services of the main counter at the sub counter (2F).
Reading Room (2F)
Books related to general works, philosophy, history, etc. are arranged on this floor. There are a lot of spaces for group study.
Serials Area
The latest issues of Humanities and Social Sciences journals as well as general magazines are arranged in this area.
Newspapers Area
Major domestic and foreign newspapers are arranged in this area.
Reference Books Area
Reference books of each subject are arranged in this area. Reference books (such as dictionaries and encyclopedias) are the books used to check the meaning of something.
Self check-out machines
You can borrow books by yourself by using the “Self check-out machines” placed in the Social Commons (1F) and library (2F) (ID card issued by the university is required).
*Materials that are for in-library use only (such as periodicals, reference books, etc.) cannot be checked out.
*In case that you have overdue books or you have already reached the limit of borrowing, you cannot borrow another book.
*Books with appendices cannot be checked out by using Self checkout machines (Please bring them to the counter).
Reading Room (3F)


Books related to Social and Natural Sciences, Art, Linguistics, Literature, etc. are arranged on this floor. Domestic and foreign books and reference books of each subject are arranged on the movable shelves.
Group Learning Area 1


You can study in a group setting the movable desks wherever you like to make your learning space.
Whiteboards and projectors are available in this area(please receive projector cables at the counter).
Group Learning Area 2


This area is a space for group learning. You can use 4~6 person booths without reservations.
Knowledge Core
By arranging materials that emphasize visuals such as foreign books and art collections, it creates a lounge-like atmosphere. You can relax and take a break while studying in the library.
Silent Room


This is a room for silent study. You can use your laptops and tablet devices. Please refrain from talking and making noises from the speakers.
