From Monday November 26 to Friday November 30, 2018, Kanagawa University hosted the “International Staff Exchange Week 2018” as one of the Kanagawa University 90th Anniversary events. 24 academic and administrative staff members from 23 partner universities in 17 countries visited Kanagawa University and the program participants were able to deepen engagement amongst themselves by introducing and exchanging ideas about good practice in international exchange and study abroad.

We organized a lecture about Yokohama by the International Affairs Bureau, City of Yokohama, Boat trip around Yokohama Port, day trip to Kamakura, and Japanese culture and hands-on experience of the "Japanese Tea Ceremony" by the students club to give participants a better knowledge of Japan, Kanagawa prefecture, and Yokohama city.

For Kanagawa University, aiming to foster new graduates who can operate actively in the global society, acquiring knowledge of the current situation of international exchange and study abroad was very meaningful, and the participants had interactive communication.

Through this program, for academic staffs and administrative staffs of both Kanagawa University and Partner Universities, it become good opportunities to learn, share and understood deeply about global education throughout the world.
