This was followed by a briefing on the university’s “Minato Mirai Campus (provisional name) Project” provided by Yukinobu Masano, Chairperson of the University, and Yoshio Kaneko, President of the University.

Reasons for selection

This proposal was recognized as an appropriate and attractive project for the Minato Mirai 21 District and signifies the advancement of a university originating in Yokohama. It creates an intellectual space in the district, brings global vigor to the area and carries the potential for cooperation between local communities and industrial, governmental and academic entities.
