Kanagawa University provides support such as Japanese language learning support and academic writing support that is conducted by Japanese language teachers for individuals concerned about their Japanese ability, such as international students and returnee students. Extra support is also provided such as the following:
assistance with study plans; assistance with preparing reports; assistance with presentations; Japanese Language Proficiency Test and BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test preparation; and loan of study-aid books, books and CDs.

Academic writing support is designed for students to receive advice from a Japanese Language Support teacher about Japanese expression of your reports, presentations, and other documents.

Joining in international related events at the International Center will increase the opportunities for you to speak Japanese.
There are books and study-aid books for Japanese study at the International Center on each campus.
It is recommended to watch DVDs at Audio-Visual Rooms of the Library which can be found on Yokohama Campus, (temporarily closed for renovation) and the Shonan Hiratsuka Campus.
